The story of the making of cult television favorite 'The Prisoner' is told by the people who were there. Patrick McGoohan's perplexing masterpiece caused a sensation when it burst onto British television screens in 1967 and, despite running for only 17 episodes, has left audiences debating its meaning for almost sixty years. Amongst this documentary's interviewees are; Wanda Ventham (UFO), Peter Wyngarde (Department S, Jason King), Derren Nesbitt (Where Eagles Dare, Special Branch), Fennella Fielding (Carry on Screaming), Annette Andre (Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)), Earl Cameron (The Power Game, Doctor Who, Inception), Mark Eden (Coronation Street) and Peter Bowles (To the Manor Born). The Manor, a dark funny version of Akira Kurosawa's " Rashomon". During a snowstorm, Patrick Roarke, a manservant, is found dead at the bottom of the main staircase in a gothic English mansion. Inspector Hatcher is sent to investigate the death. When he arrives, he finds a household consisting of five women. When questioned by the inspector, each of the women tells a different story, all of which are illustrated by flashback scenes showing the events as related by that particular person. Everybody seems to protect somebody and the inspector becomes increasingly intoxicated as he tries to untangle the web of lies in his endeavour to find out the truth.

"The Manor," is the macabre tale of mental patient, Amy Hunter and the horrific events that follow her release from Psychiatrist, Dr. Tryvniak . Amy's mother, Jane feels it best to immerse her daughter in the warm, family atmosphere of Anders Manor, inviting Amy's long lost family to join them at the manor. The Manor, however, has deeper plans for the Hunter Family, as gatecrashers and cultists arrive as the nefarious and ancient demonic force, goes to work, in short order, to sew madness and reap blood.
